Hi folks,
Anybody know what the moment arm is for weight & balance of the starter
is on a C23? It doesn't seem to be in the equipment list. But the
alternator _is_ there, go figure.

You can just measure to the centerline of the starter and figure it. The starter isn't there as a separate part because it is part of the engine calculation. It comes with the engine from Lycoming. The alternator is listed separately because it is actually planned and installed as an airframe part. Seems like you could legally just use the engine data, with the reduced starter weight figured in, but since the starter is on the forward end, doing it separately would be more accurate.
