Time is closing in on the Liberal Flyin. Below is a list of the
current events:
Arrivals: Friday and Saturday
Call 800-550-3111 for shuttle service
Motel Check in: Best Western (800-550-3111)
Saturday
8-9 am Breakfast
9-10 am shuttle to airport museum
10am-11:30 tour of museum
11:30-12:30 pizza
12:30-2 guest speaker(s)
2-4 pm maintenance clinic and awards.
I am planning on departing Saturday evening. Anyone can certainly
stay if they would like.

FBO: (620-624-1646)
Discounts:
Lyddon FBO offered $0.15 discount per gallon, no ramp fees, slot in
the maintenance hangar, and possible courtesy car.
The Museum offered a $1 discount on admission (tickets with the
discount would be $3 for seniors, $4 for anyone else). The are also
allowing us to use the theater for guest speakers.
Make your motel reservations now! Send me an email to confirm that
you will attend. I hope to see great attendance and representation.
The current guest speaker is Larry Magri, a retired Beech Engineer
that worked on the Musketeer line.

I sure hope we do another Liberal event in 2006, because I just can't make it there for this year's schedule. Larry M is a fountain of knowledge about these planes. Ask him to bring the oversize modification photo prints I made for him a couple of years ago.

We are less than a week away from the North Central flyin at Liberal,
KS. This event is open to anyone and everyone that wants to come.
Please don't forget to make reservations if you are staying the night.
I will fly in on Friday night and will leave Saturday night. If you
will attend, send me an email for planning purposes. So far I only
have 3 responses from the 20 or so that previously mentioned they
would attend.

Count me in. My Son and I are planning on leaving EARLY Sat morning (from
Denver) and hope not to miss beakfast.
Come on North Central-ites (and anyone else nearby - I'm actually in the SW
region)... Let's have a good showing. Let's see if we can really get 20
planes!!! Liberal, KS - The birthplace of a lot of our birds.

A&P needed! The A&P that was going to do the maintenance clinic backed
out. If there is an A&P that will attend and would like to do a
maintenance clinic, please let me know.
Weather looks a little shaky right now. Stay tuned for a final go, no-
go decision closer to the event.
