Our Sundowner needs new elevator bearings.. Have the bearings but the
A&P says the bolts are stuck to the old bushings (rust) and can't get
out.. Any ideas other than using some good rust lube like KROIL (My
personal favorite) ?

Thought you might have received some responses by now, Bill. Personally, I am a big fan of ACF50 and Corrosion X for freeing frozen, rusted fasteners. The only real drawback is that it has to soak for quite a while; even a week or more, for it to do its "molecular creep" trick. If you want to soak the bolts for just a couple of days, and then try them, I would try using a heat gun on them after the soaking period. With the tailcone removed, it should be easy to prevent damage to anything else (if you take care about avoiding the paint), even with the gun on High. If the A&P can get to it with an extended rivet set, with a backup block, he can also try just "buzzing it" with a rivet gun to help work it loose while it is hot with the penetrant in it.
