I want to thank Ray for his hard work leading the North Central Region.
We seem to have been bitten by the weather gods but hopefully the SE and
NE fly ins this weekend will start a new trend of GREAT weather.
I look forward to working with you as your North Central Region
Director. We have two scheduled events that are on the calendar. The
first is detailed below and the second is at Minden Ne. in August when
they have an antique airplane fly in. There is more info on BAC which
will be posted here as time nears. If any NC member would like to host
a fly in, please contact me.
I want to remind everyone about
“Musketeers over Mt. Rushmore,â€
June 18th 2005.
Fly In at Rapid City Regional Airport (KRAP). Fly In, Burger Burn, and
Mt Rushmore fly by.
Bill Franklin has done a great job of putting together what I am sure
will be a fun day. Some of the important information including June 5th
Motel Reservation deadline is below. It will be here before you know it.
Mark your calendars and make your reservations now. At last report the
Alaska group is planning to stop by on their way.

"Break on fuel cost and no tie down fee, by WestJet Air (FBO).
Wx back up June 25, 2005.
I have made a deal with Red Roof Inn in Rapid City. They are holding a
block of rooms for "Beech Aero Club" at a reduced rate of $71.99 for
single queen bed and $89.99 for two queen beds.
The block will drop out on the 5th of June and be released to everyone.
Please call early and reserve your room. Red Roof Inn, 1-800-456-0061,
Reeva is handling the block of rooms but anyone can take your reservation.
If you plan to come in Friday and stay through Sunday they will honor
the same rate for the stay. "
