An update on my quest for a replacement throttle cable and another plea
for help. I've contacted the following companies trying to find a close
fit to my throttle control (Raytheon part# 169-940013-19) for a 1969
Musketeer B23 (Serial# M-1176):

Raytheon - none in stock and November 1st expected date - price over
$1,100
ACS - even their custom cables have the spiral outer casing
McFarlane - only make friction lock-type throttles, not button actuated
Tuthill - don't make throttles for Musketeers
Ram - don't make throttles for Musketeers
Centex - don't make throttles for Musketeers

A company named Sedco out of Oklahoma City, OK is the manufactures name
on Raytheon's drawing for the part. No Sedco in Oklahoma City, but the
one Sedco in Oklahoma is a land survey company. Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

David - Have you tried any Salvage yards? I got one at my home field, do
you want me to see if they have a usable part?
You can call Atlanta Air Salvage at 1-800-237-8831. They usually have
Musketeer parts.
