Open Nominations for BAC Elections

The current terms for the officers and directors of the Beech Aero Club end December 31, 2008. An election for officers and directors will be held between December 1 and December 15, 2008. The officers and directors elected will serve a two year term beginning January 1, 2009.

BAC Fest 2008 Memories

For those of you who were unable to attend BAC Fest 2008 and therefore missed out on the goodies, you can still collect BAC Fest 2008 gifts and logo'ed items. In fact, you can still get previous year BAC Fest stuff for gifts or just for your own collection. We need to clear this stuff out and return a little revenue to BAC. Order today! BAC Fest 2008 a HUGE success!!!

BAC Fest 2008 is over but the attendees are still buzzing about it! Over 50 people attended this year and there were 16 planes on the ramp at one point. This is not the largest crowd (that was last year) but it was a great turn-out considering the western venue. There was a different approach to the event this year too.....

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON AEC FUEL SELECTOR VALVE!

As noted in the initial announcement of availability, AEC has been offering an extremely attractive price on these new valves. The intent was to enable those still equipped with the old brass Imperial valve to quickly get their valve replaced. THE PRICE IS NOW GOING UP AS PREDICTED! BETTER MOVE FAST!

Notice of Annual Meeting of BAC

The 2008 Annual Meeting of the Beech Aero Club will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Radisson Hotel Santa Maria in Santa Maria, CA. The meeting will be held during the Members� Luncheon at the BAC Fest 2008 Fly-In. All members of the Beech Aero Club are invited to attend and participate.

BAC Fest 2008 Registration is open!!!!

It's time to register for BAC Fest 2008 for the best BAC Fest ever! This year's event will be in California at the Santa Maria Airport (KSMX), October 8th - 12th. We will be hosted by the Radisson Inn which is located right on the airport premises. In fact, you can taxi up to the door of the hotel and park your plane so you can see it from your room. No rental car or cabs needed! How cool is that?!

AFB Museum Fly-in (PXE)

The big aviation museum fly-in is this Saturday August 16th. The transportation will be rolling out of PXE (Perry, GA) about 11am. We have a good turnout already scheduled and always have room for many more. The museum is free so come see all the great planes including the SR71 Blackbird.
