Summer Membership Drive Begins

The board approved membership campaign has begun! Again the membership campaign will consist of three mail pieces going out to FAA registered owners of baby Beeches who are not BAC members. This time the first mailer is going to be.....

TWO NEW AECI PARTS FINALLY AVAILABLE TO BAC MEMBERS!

It has been a three-year project with AECI, involving myself, Bill Manhein, and Kamran Rouhani, but the FAA-PMA approved reinforced 19/23/23-24/24R/76 Nylon yoke shaft bearings-bushings, and the stainless-steel Sierra main gear down-lock springs, are both finally available!

Mouse Invasion of Cub Haven now underway

The annual Sentimental Journey to Cub Haven fly-in has started at Lock Haven, PA (KLHV), and the planned mouse invasion has begun!

Arlington is less than 1 week away, and we have been invited to have a type club table in the big (main) tent!
This would be the FIRST EVER Beech Aero Club Type Tent at this west coast "Oshkosh" type event!

This would mean fantastic exposure for BAC!

Webmaster Tim Flight Steps Down

Webmaster and board member Tim Flight has decided to resign his position effective May 18, 2009. Tim indicated that after the website server transition was complete he would be stepping down and though the transition took a tad longer than we thought, it is done and Tim has officially resigned.

Beech Day 2009 Coming Up! Plus Northwest Region Fly-in Plans!

Beech Day 2009 looks to be an especially worthwhile event this year....Lots of new changes including at least 4 informative seminars, Static Displays, and more.
Hopefully attendance will qualify for the new FAA "FAAST" program credit.
This year, for the first time, a $10 donation is asked, but .....
