The event has been posted on the calendar and the SW RD notified. All we need now is for BAC members to show up.

This is my home airport and I will be at the airport both days. I am inviting all BAC members and guests to join me and watch the airshow from the comfort of my hangar and share my grill. You can bring your own food and drink but I should have plenty on hand. I will have a limited amount of folding chairs. My hangar number is 507-10 and my cell is (317)626-2583. Call me if you need help finding the hangar. It is easily accessible from the air show grounds. Feel free to wander over any time, but the grill won't be hot until around 11:00 both days. PT Points will count for either Saturday or Sunday but not both. There is a KOA campgrounds 2.5 miles from the airport. I will be happy to provide transportation to and from for those that are planning a longer stay.

My plane is in pieces at the moment - it annual time - and of course - it's absolutely gorgeous out... So far indications are that this one may go smoothly - knock on wood... So if I have a plane and we have some "nice" weather - I'll be heading West for this one...

Eastern Elk herd - seriously - we have wild Elk in PA ? I'm the outdoors type and I never heard that one before... Just another reason to go...

Airport scheduled to reopen on June 11.

It's time for some more throwed rolls at Lambert's in Sikeston, MO. We'll plan for Saturday, June 16 and hope the precipitation and low ceilings leave us alone this year. Plan to arrive at the airport, KSIK, by 11:30 AM Central time and we'll call for the van to pick us up at 11:45. It's a BAC fly-in so Regional Director Dave Gribble has agreed to pick up the tab for all BAC members and their guests who fly with them. Give me a call if you have any questions.
