    Hi Al -

Top center is where I put the antenna for my GPSMap 195 - never had any obvious
problems up there, except when the antenna gets hot - then it quits!

Unplugging (built-in antenna on Yoke Mount) is about 2/3 of the total signal -
    but usable.

Wonder if I painted it white? Last time, I tossed a Sectional over it, and the
signal came back in about 10 minutes, when it cooled off, so....

GPS antenna - center of the Glairshield

As I wrote to Al, I use AnywherMap on a PocketPC with a Bluetooth
GPS. I can keep the BT GPS in my pocket and still have good
    reception.

GPS antenna - center of the Glairshield

Bob, do you have the basic Anywhere Map or do you also
have the approach plates and/or weather? I just
ordered the basic iPAQ4705. I strongly considered the
pocket plates addition but I just renewed my Jeppesen
paper and decided to put off the decision for a year.
It is supposed to be delivered tomorrow and I am
    anxious to see it.
