    Empty CG For Sundowner

    Hello All,

Still working the W&B for my Sundowner. In talking with other folks, it
appears my empty CG may be low? I wanted to find out what
other "unmodified" Sundowners were looking like to find whether mine is
normal. Please reply with your empty CG and also let me know if you
have the light-weight starter or any other mod, i.e., ballast
    installed.

    Thank you,

    Empty CG For Sundowner

I had my 1972 Sundowner weighed as part of the first annual after I owned it.

    Empty weight: 1533
    CG: 110.35

This is with a Sky-Tec lightweight starter, zero fuel, and 6 quarts of oil.
As I recall, the official empty weight and balance should be made with
unusable fuel and zero oil. I did it this way because it is easier to
figure weight and balance because I don't always have to add the oil and
    subtract unusable fuel.
