    Tom,

Will admit having been awake for ~ 30 hours to make that trip & was
somewhat touched for a bit, but OK now & thx for your concern

I took your comments below, to mean that the Sundowners are bigger
(& heavier) than earlier slab side svelte Musketeers by ~ 4 inches in
the fuselage. This was not explained with other that the word "bigger."

(Sundowners are bigger than Musketeers and have two doors.)

In the same phrase was mentioned that Sundowners are also 2 doors,
which they all are. I felt that may have left the impression that
earlier Musketeers (or pre Sundowner models) were a 1 door model which
for the most part, they are, so I added:

"It's my understanding that some Musketeers also have two doors."

I'm sure you noticed that others were confused (by your comments &
perhaps mine) as they felt that you meant to say Archer rather than
Sundowner, in terms of size, or "bigger" than.

I believe the original question was from someone looking at these
birds for the first time & for the sake of others in the same boat,
thought I'd mention that some ealier Musketeers were available with 2
doors (a pilot side door option). I'd say that for some, it is
impotant in their decision. Of course, I didn't quite explain it this way.

As to these comments..well..perhaps you could elaborate?:-O

    Cheers,
    Jon

    Sundowner vs Archer & doors

Does anyone have a photo of a new Musketeer coming right out of the factory so I can prove this point to Jon Simik (bigbajon). He does not believe me.

    Oz, you must have one.

Have you never seen a Musketeer fresh out of the factory? The dealers cut holes in the cabin to install one or two doors depending on the customer.

Thank you Oz. This has been a very important MM quest... to find out why bigbajon does not know that all Musketeers came out of the factory with no doors, leaving the dealers to install them.

I have several, but need more photos from MMers

Not to worry Tommy boy, I'll save you from Big Bad Jon, I have quite a
few photos of Beechcrafts. I'll dig them them up. Actually I hate to
admit it butI think your are correct Tom. After I go through the
trouble of digging up proof to show Big Jon is wrong, he'll have to buy
us beers. For free beers, I will travel to the frozen hell he calls
    Canada.
