"When my backing plate cracked...

I got a complete replacement spinner kit (SN-5 for my A23-24) from
Aircraft Spruce for about $140.00... Got it polished for an additional

Took about 4-5 hours for me (I do my own work which is Inspected &
signed off by an IA) to drill all the holes and cut it to fit the prop.
Took longer because I made additional fill plates to cover the backside
of the prop.

This was a better idea than waiting 18 months for a $1800.00 backing
plate from Beech or getting a $500.00 backing plate from a junk yard.
