    Fuel Cap

    Hi all,

Well despite all the excellent advice I have received, I am getting no response on my fuel cap issue from those who are offering replacements in the classifieds (i.e. Mike Rellihan). Does anyone know if any of the various ones offered by Aircraft Spruce will work?

    Thanks a bunch,

    Dean

Mike has probably been busy getting down to Sun-N-Fun and trying to support the BAC club. Iam sure that in given time he will respond to your questions.

Gee, that is probably because Mike is at Sun and Fun up to his knees in mud.

    John,

I guess Mud & Fun has our tech experts busy. I just checked the IPC figure 287 and the Fuel Cap O-rings are as follows:

    MS29513-10 & MS29513-338.

Your mechanic should be able to get these and refurbish your fuel cap. The -10 is listed in A/C Spruce, they may also have or can order the -338.

    Hi All,

Does anyone know if the MS29513-10 & MS29513-338 will both work for a C24R?

Anyone know what the difference is between the -10 and the -338?

    Thanks.

    Ross

The MS29513-10/-338 o-rings are the only ones shown in the IPC for all the Musketeer series. I would hope the C24R would be included as that is what I bought the IPC for.

The difference in the o-rings is size. The -10 is the shaft seal the -338 is the cap seal.
