    F/Fwd Hose Set

My annual is here and I will need to have the complete hose network
replaced. I remember someone in the group saying that these items
could be purchased as a package. Is that still true?

    F/Fwd Hose Set

    Jeff,

If you are talking about the interior SCAT to SCEET duct/hose change out, the info is on the Beech Aero Club website www.beechaeroclub.org or you can contact Jonathan Kinney with Custom Ducts, the manufacturer, directly at kinney@fairpoint.net

I juzt purchase a complete set of ducts for mine and received them quickly.

I'm dreading what I might find in the way of corrosion when I start tearing out the old black SCAT hoses.

    Hey Jeff

If your looking for all the hoses firewall forward check out PHT at http://www.aircrafthose.com/ Talk to a guy named Ashly and him Beech Aero Club sent you. You'll like what you get. If a hose for some reason doesn't work just send it back and they'll send you what you need. OR, better yet send them all your hoses and they will make the same hoses with tags and send them back to you. Takes about 2 weeks.

    F/Fwd Hose Set

Jeff, I replaced my hoses with a set made by PHT, Inc.
of Tulsa, Oklahoma. They are quality hoses with fire
jackets. I contacted them and they assured me that
they knew the hoses that I needed and sent me a set.
The set that they sent was short one hose, one of the
fuel hoses was about 1/2 inch too short and two of the
hoses had the wrong size fittings. They did work with
me and make it right only charging me for the hose
that was originally omitted, but there was a delay.
My assessment is that whether you use PHT or some
other vendor, you should remove the hoses and send
them in to be matched. There are so many variations
in our airplanes and there is a possibility that a
fitting size has been changed along the way. I would
use PHT again without reservation, except I would not
accept their assurance that they know the correct hose
lengths and fitting sized for an airplane that they
    have not seen.

The hose set did not include replacements for the Scat
hoses that are used as air ducts or the hose that
supplies cooling air to the fuel line. I bought bulk
hose and fabricated those lines. The PHT set includes
the oil and fuel hoses when complete.
