    rigging

    before i get in the shop for a rigging adjustment one question ! if
    both ailerons hang down with the yolk lock in, is the balance cable all
    that needs to be adjusted?

    Someone may have taken the slack out of the system by tightening the
    "balance" cable as you call it. They should have taken part of the slack
    out of each of the 3 cables, so that the ailerons won't droop.

    Lots of people work on the planes without the maintenance manual (in
    violation of FAR 43.13...).
