    Engine Preservation

There will be an extended time I will not fly this winter. In all
likelyhood, the 66 A23 will remain outside most of the time in 10 to 40
    degree weather.

Looking for ideas on protecting the engine, oil and any commercial
    products for this purpose.

    Regards,

    JM

Lycoming has service information on the proper pickling of engines not in use.

It should be applicable to Continentals as well.
