    BAC Monday Activities at AirVenture

On Monday, July 27th, we will meet at the Flying Magazine tent at 3:00 PM to meet with Flying columnist Dick Karl. His first airplane was a Musketeer!

We will leave the Flying tent and head over to the EAA Museum in time to hear Gene Nora Jessen speak at 4:30 PM. She is one of the original Beech Musketeer demo pilots and has a new book "The Fabulous Flight of the Three Musketeers" about that experience.

    After that, who knows?

Do we just buy passes at the "regular" gate or what?

You purchase wrist bands at the main gate for the days you will attend, or you can purchase a wrist band for the full week. I don't know the price break-out offhand. The lines are long, but they move very quickly. The grounds layout is a bit different this year, but I think the procedure is the same. You get a discount on the fees if you are an EAA member.

What days will you be at Oshkosh?

BTW, the BAC picnic is not on the AirVenture grounds, so no wrist band is required unless you also want to attend AirVenture that day.

I fly into Green Bay on Sunday the 26th. I will drive down Monday. I depart for home on Wednesday the 29th. I plan to attend the picnic and as much of the show as I can; so I'll probably get a pass for Monday and Tuesday.

    See ya there,
    Chris

Ya'll enjoy it for me this year, Guys & Gals. We will be in Slovenia next week so we'll miss it this year. Loved it and the post-Oshkosh trip to Marquette and MacKinac Island that we took last year.
