    Sun-n-Fun 2010 BAC Gathering

    Updated April 9, 2010 03:00Z
    (cleaned up posts on thread)

We are going to try to have ticket pickup at the front desk of the Hilton Garden Inn (3839 Don Emerson Drive, Lakeland, FL, US, 1-863-647-0066) like we did last year. Your arm band(s) & volunteer parking pass (yellow lot) will be in an envelope with your name on it.

We are planning events for Sun-n-Fun again this year.
    1) BAC will be putting up a table in the type club tent.
    - Please help the club out by giving of your time.
    - All volunteers that work at least two shifts will get a free pass
    2) Dinner is Thursday night (BoneFish Grill like last year)
    3) the old oak tree with the chairs will have a BAC banner around the tree - near last hangar in the corner

You can reply to a post here or send me an email to doug.muse at gmail.com and I will update.

The Type Club Tent is located on the East end of the display/vendor ramp, almost right at the exit to the flight line.
It is set back a bit from the line, so it is easy to miss. It should be shown on the site map you receive with your tickets, in the Program.

    Hey Doug,

I scored a great four day trip starting tomorrow which ends before 1400 hours on Tuesday. I intend to be on the 1700 flight to Tampa. Expect me Wednesday morning at Sun and Fun and I get two whole days!! Going back on Friday. If you need to move me around for table coverage from Thursday to Wednesday or whatever combination, feel free. Assuming no problems, I will be there.

I stopped by the tent to say hello. Now sitting in the shade of my Musketeer as strangers risk their lives high over my head. Getting some drops of rain. May have to go inside for a bit...

    Sun-n-Fun announcement.
Eight restaurants and Gulf Coast have sponsored two vans for those who would like to visit these sponsors. The van can be boarded at the central station for the shuttles. Once they have four or more people, or a planned group of up to 15 (filling a van), they will depart. The driver will be back for a pick-up as specified. The only cost to the rider is a gratuity for the driver. More info is available at the shuttle station tent.
