    The weather across the region has been just awful lately, with high winds for days and severe storms as I type this... but the predictions are for clear skies and calm winds on Saturday for our fly-in to Ames Iowa.

    Please come join us - we have 5 aircraft planning to attend so far... but room for many more! Come fly out, enjoy the nice weather, and have some great BBQ!

    And don't forget to check NOTAMS before you go. It looks like Runway 13/31 is closed (that is the shorter runway) - so I'll have to try to land the Skipper on the 5701' long runway 1/19.
