Beech Aero Club at AOPA Plymouth, MA July 12 - Fly In

Members going to the AOPA Fly-in at Plymouth, Massachusetts can get PT points and maybe a BEECH BUM T-shirt.

To meet other members go to the gate in the chain link fence that gives you access to the ramp from the main terminal (restaurant). Be there between 12:03pm and 12:13pm. Wait ten minutes for others. Hold a little BAC sign like the limo guys do.

I am on PEI Canada for the summer so please get a list of BACers who arrived and where they flew in from. Email the list to me at mediareps@aol.com.

As long as the AOPA dues have gone up, get a free hot dog for your extra ten bucks.

    Hi Tom,

I'm not going to be able to make it - I'm still in annual...

Anyone going - just FYI - there is a 33 page arrival procedures guide to aid with the extremely heavy traffic expected... I've seen people on AOPA pass on this event due to the hornets nest of traffic expected... No temporary tower for this one... Hey - let's be careful out there...

    http://download.aopa.org/fly-ins/Ply...Fly-In_PIP.pdf

I'm not sure if the link will work for those who don't belong to AOPA...

Read the arrival procedures - decided to pass. Too much traffic.

    Hi Folks,

Did anyone go - AOPA - had the numbers around 550 planes...

I'm airborne again after an almost 5 figure annual - ouch...
