What is the correct part number for the throttle cable, for my A23-24 Musketeer Super (IO360)?

The IPC for the A23-24 Super/IO360 specifies throttle control cable assembly P/N 169-940013-15, which has superseded P/N 169-940013-1 and P/N 33-380004-1.
Part number 169-940013-15 is a complete throttle control cable assembly; but just the cable itself (no knob, etc.) is P/N 41594-1 manufactured by American Chain and Cable Co. The cable only has never been available as a replacement part. The 169-940013-15 is a vernier style cable, and is 58 inches long.
While I can still get the Beech cable, no one actually buys them anymore. That’s because a few years ago, Beech specified a List price of $2,505 for the $200 cable. There are copies of Form 337s on the BAC website that can help your mechanic install an ACS cable from Spruce instead.
