My ignition switch died. Where can I find one? The original 35-590099-3 ignition can’t be found. Nor can I find any of the lock sets that included a new ignition switch. (mag switch, magneto switch)
Editor:
The standard ignition switch is Bendix PN 10-357200-1. This is the switch that used to be included in the lock-set kits sold under the 35-590099-3, -63, and -65 part numbers, for all our planes (and for some Bonanzas/Barons).
RAPID has them for $355, including the lock cylinder and two keys. Or you can buy it from Aircraft Spruce for (Gasp!) $207. Other parts suppliers also sell these switches, as they are used on a wide range of aircraft.
