What are the part numbers for the circuit breaker switches used in my Skipper? I need the new AD-compliant numbers. Also the original numbers, to ensure I can recognize the wrong ones when I see them. It would also help to have the circuit diagram codes (CB1, CB2, etc.). (Skipper switches, Skipper CB switches, Skipper circuit breaker switches, Skipper circuit-breaker switches)
Here is the data on the Skipper switches. Keep in mind that the compliance date is July 2009. I advise Skipper owners to delay compliance for at least six months, or until April 2009 or so. There is at least some hope that the American Bonanza Society will obtain an Alternative Means Of Compliance (AMOC) that will enable use of a “standard electrical hardware” Potter and Brumfield (TYCO) CB switch. They are still pretty expensive, compared to standard switches; but at least one-third less than the Beech price. They are also no more expensive than trying to add standard circuit breakers along with quality standard switches.
