The latest revision in my POH is A6. Raytheon pubs lists revision A7, but the revision package is no longer available available. Does anyone know what can be done? I’m having my airworthiness inspection performed, and the inspector wants the POH updated.

As far as I know, there are three things that can be done.
The first (and cheapest) is for someone who has Rev 7 (169-590008-23A7) in their POH, to make you a copy of the revision index page and each listed affected page. I doubt that it would be very practical for someone having the newest 169-590008-23 manual to copy every page. Making a copy won’t provide very durable pages for a POH, unless you can laminate each page (or do something similar).
The second alternative is for you to simply buy the newest POH (169-590008-23) from RAC Publications for their $70 list price. Make sure that you copy and paste all of the link:

In this case I was confused by the RAC part numbers. Normally, when a revision package becomes unavailable, it is because it has been incorporated in a new printing of the core manual. This usually shows up as an alpha suffix on the base number. For example, the 169-590008-23 would become -23A. That is not shown in the RAC listing; and in fact the RAC listing shows the 1979 revision date for the stocked manual. I called RAC Pubs at 800-795-2665, and I verified for you that if you order the base number (the 169-590008-23), you will indeed receive a new POH that shows that it contains the Revision 7 data. The date will be somewhere around August 1994 or newer.
This is what I would do, if I were you. You just transfer all the W&B data and any Supplements (for installed equipment) into your new manual (in its new binder), and take the old one home for general reference.
The third possibility is to call ESSCO at 877-318-1555 and discuss what you need with them. Their online pubs listings are often inaccurate or misleading. In virtually every case, their cheaper manuals are the obsolete ones that do you no good. Their current manuals are simply resale of the current manufacturer’s manual, at a price higher than the list price. For example, you can buy what I suspect is actually the current C23 POH from ESSCO for $85, versus the $70 from Beech (RAC Pubs). This is probably due to copyright issues. Note that ESSCO often uses misleading parts numbers. They are using the Beech PN for the A7 revision package (169-590008-23A7) as the PN for what I suspect is actually the newest manual. I did not call them to verify whether they are actually selling the latest version, as their pricing is higher than Beech. I have found this to be the case on all the current-edition manuals that they sell.
