It may depend on your airframe model, and whether modifications or substitutions have been made (rightly or wrongly). The parts books call for 66-10500 linings; this is the latest variant of the original “66-30”.

Apparently not all our planes have been equipped with these linings. If you clean your calipers, you should be able to find a data plate somewhere that has a caliper model number on it. It will probably look something like Model 30-75. The prefix will be a 30; it’s the second set of numbers that you need for caliper identification. With that assembly number, you can use the Cleveland catalog to conclusively identify the correct linings that should be used with that caliper assembly. For example, my Sierra has the 30-75B caliper unit, and uses the 66-10500 linings. Here are some numbers extracted from the Parker PDF files. They are listed as they are shown in the catalog.

Calipers 30-30, 30-55, 30-55B, 30-79, 30-79A, 30-79B, 30-214, 30-214B, 30-224 use lining 66-10500.

Calipers 30-56, 30-56A, 30-56B, 30-56C, 30-56D, 30-56F, 30-63, 30-63A, 30-63B, 30-63D, 30-63E, 30-63F, 30-63J, 30-63K, 30-63M, 30-63P, 30-63Q, 30-63S use lining 66-10500.
