Robert Lewis:
Has anyone used, had a friend use, or heard of Kline Aviation in Brooklyn, MI? I spoke with the owner who sounded like a reasonable, knowledgeable person; and the cost to rebuild my engine was acceptable. The problem is, having been around for a while, I have run across persons who sound great but perform poorly. I don’t wish to risk something like my aircraft engine.

Al Todd:

Kline aviation is a small, excellent shop. He rebuilds 40 to 50 engines per year for the last 25 years. There are two guys at my home drome that used him in the last year, and they are very happy. No leaks, oil consumption nil, running great. One was an 0-320 off one of them Piper products; he had 2,800 hours on it, and had no surprises when he picked it up. An FBO at South Haven (just North of them) has used Kline for years, with no
problems. I highly recommend Kline. I did not use him for my IO 346 only because I wanted to do it myself.
