Another fun event for both land and Sea Planes. This private fly-in community is 38 miles southeast of Gainesville and is very easy to get to. This always brings out some fun planes to watch. This is a private grass strip near Crescent City Florida. Caution if landing South there are power lines on the North End there is a displaced threshold to aim for. Please RSVP if you can come. Air Frequency at FD44 is 123.15 which will be monitored by airboss (Doug)
Use Ground Frequency 123.45. Ground crew will help guide to parking spot.
Suggest (within 20 miles or more) to listen on the frequency 123.15. Announce where you are at 10 miles out and then again at 5 miles. If the frequency is congested, stay away and delay until it frees up. There isn’t a need for everyone to arrive at exactly the same time.
