Technical Editor:

You’ll have to confirm the airframe serial number, as it can vary by airframe. I am assuming that you are talking about the main spar attachment to the center splice plates.

If you are talking about SN M155 and later, and you need the fasteners for both wings, and if the parts are all original, you should need the following. Pricing is as of August 1008. Aircraft Spruce does not carry this MilSpec-standard but specialized-application hardware. Note that in many cases the original nuts are of the HiLoc variety, and have to be cut off. Great care must be taken, using the proper tool, to avoid cutting the bolt threads or the surface of the splice plate or spar. If undamaged (no aircraft crash involved, no corrosion), the bolts should all be reusable.

TOP SPLICE:
4ea MS20005-8 or NAS145-8 or Beech 130909BH98. Price at Beech is $38.28 each
20ea MS20005-10 or NAS145-10 or Beech 130909BH194. Price at Beech is $3.65 each

BOTTOM SPLICE:
4ea MS20004-11 or NAS144-11 (No Beech magnafluxed hardware code). Price at Beech is $8.11 each
4ea MS20005-16 or NAS145-16 (No Beech magnafluxed hardware code). Price at Beech is $9.37 each
12ea MS20005-19 or NAS145-19 (No Beech magnafluxed hardware code). Price at Beech is $15.30 each

All of the above bolts are the internally wrenching type, very high tensile strength due to the radius under the head. They require the use of radiused washers under the head, with the radius placed toward the head of the bolt. The threaded end uses standard AN960 washers (max of three for nut spacing to clear the bolt shoulder), and standard AN365 elastic locknuts. Aircraft Spruce does carry the standard AN960 washers and the AN365 elastic locknuts.

The special head washers with the beveled ID on one side are:
4ea MS20002C4 or NAS143-4C. Price at Beech is $0.98 each.
40ea MS20002C5 or NAS143-5C. Price at Beech is $0.39 each.

Note 1: The 1962-1963 models, SN M0001 through M0554 used a slightly different bolt mix. Since some number of these airframes have been converted to the later bolt configuration, you must check the bolt diameter and length to verify what is required for a given airframe.

Note 2: This list is a compilation of the original IPC, the current IPC, the current Shop Manual, the supersedures listed in RAPID, and aviation industry standard hardware supersedures.
