Did you know that you can receive a notification via email whenever anyone posts a reply to a topic you have participated in within the Discussion Forums? It is true! Near the bottom of the form that you post while creating a new topic, or responding to an existing topic is a checkbox which says “Notify me when a reply is posted”.By checking that box you will be notified by email of any responses to the topic. Sometimes however, you might forget to check the box. Or you might want to have that box checked for you automatically. We’ve got you covered there too!
While in the Discussion Forums (Technical menu) click on the word ‘Profile‘ (or click that link) which appears near the top center of the page, under the menu bar. Look in the middle of the page for text that says “Always notify me of replies”. Select ‘Yes’ and then click the ‘Submit’ button.
Now, for any future topics you create or reply to the notification checkbox will be checked for you so that you don’t have to remember. Just another way to help keep on course with everything happening on the site!
