Hope not, but if it comes to pass this will be big bucks for every mouse. We did a Lance AD last year and it was about a week of labor to do the elevator cable. As soon as you fritz with the rudder/aileron innerconnect you risk trim issues bigtime.

Any BAC A&Ps out there that have done a mouse cable replacement? If so, labor estimate?

I had two cables replaced last annual due to wear, elevator in tail cone and a section of the aileron cables in the center pedestal area. 10 hrs for elevator, 26.5 hrs for aileron, including rigging. They got the rigging right first time, which I was very happy about.

Wow, replacing all primary flight control cables would be very labor intensive, not to mention expensive if you bought the parts from Beech. I just tried to get a price for aileron cables on the Beech site and was directed to customer service, that means the price just went up.

I replaced both the flap control cables about 10 years ago I think it took me about 10 hours. Had to rig the rudder and stab cables a while back and that took all day.

I think the cables for mine came from McFarlane and weren't excessively spendy, as aircraft stuff goes. I'm not sure whether they stock them or the shop gave dimensions. In any case the labor was far more expensive.
