The Cooke family has survived the storm without even
losing power or cable. We live in western Galveston
county near an airstrip named Diehl at 29.32N and
95.09W. The airplane went to Southwest Houston at
Arcola, TX and should be fine, but I have not been
able to check on it. I wouldn't be surprised if our
hangar got some water, but Galveston Island is still
blocked off, so will be tomorrow before I can check
its status. Our only losses are some tree branches
and some carpet spots from our 6 dogs and 3 cats.

Dodged another bullet!
