Hello, everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. I am a student pilot approaching my first solo. I recently purchased a B23 Musketeer many of you are probably familiar with, N26TD. My intention is to use it to gain my private, instrument, and build hours toward my commercial. I am located in Southeast Missouri. The plane is located at KCGI.

Cameron, Welcome to the BAC! This is a great place for you to ask any questions about flying that you may have. We have many who are very knowledgeable flying these Musketeers which we knick name "mice". We do have a safety director, Paul Webin, who is a professional flight instructor who is also available for discussion about whatever subject you may desire to learn more about. We have a very active BAC member just up stream from you at Florissant, MO, Steve Powers, who is also an A&P. He can help you with flying questions, but more than that, he is also an A&P, so if you have any maintenance questions, I am sure he would be happy to assist you. During the day he is busy putting hydraulic systems in fighter jets, but he is available the rest of the time. Finally, you are in the North Central Region of the BAC and I currently serve as your director. I am available to visit with you on just about anything. Here is my contact info:
    Phone: home 308-345-1755, cell 308-340-7283, and office 308-345-2995. e-mail:
Let me know if there is anything we can do for you.

Congratulations on your choice of aircraft, and welcome to the best aircraft owners group around! As Mike said, you will find many folks here willing to share their knowledge and passion for flying and owning a Mouse.

Thanks, all. I don't have a lot to base it on, but I love the mouse, so far. I lucked into a great plane. I was looking for a Cherokke 140 when 26TD kind of fell in my lap. No regrets at all. Can't wait to solo, so I can start making real progress towards my private.

If anyone out there has a topic for group discussion we can set up an imeet. We usually get a range of ideas and very useful information.

Sounds great. I am confident I should be able to fly down by then. If not, my instructor is a friend. He may want to go down as well. I have shot touch and goes at SIK.
