    Finally IFR

Congratulations. Go get some "real" IFR. Take another IFR pilot
with you if you can for your first few times.

And just because you "can" go doesn't mean that you should go. If
you have any doubts about your skill set being up to the task, drive.

Welcome to the world of IFR.

Congratulations Brent. I know how hard it is to run a business and work on
your IFR or any rating, it is like trying to run a whole different business.
But it is well worth it. I have had mine for about 3 years and do not do
enough actual time, but I do round up a safety pilot and do my approaches
mostly at night. I have found it to be more realistic.
I do local light IFR trips, I flew 1 1/2 of actual time last Thursday on an
angel flight and I always feel it is a great accomplishment, especially with
    out an auto pilot.
Again congratulations and use it well.
    Brian

Graduations, the hardest thing you will now find is keeping it current, or
at least that has been the hardest for me, I too know what you mean running
a business and working on the ticket, such a relief, the ticket has come if
handy when current, most of my flying now is VFR, usually use the ticket to
depart and get on top or make a approach at night.

Fly safe, you will find the rating has made you a much better pilot, you
will maintain your attitude and know your positioning with out thinking hard
about it, so you will be able to enjoy your flying.

Congratulations Brent! Once I got my rating my instructor told me to
always file IFR except for the shortest of flights. This will keep you
"current" working with ATC and no more, "squawk 1200 and pick-up XYZ ATC
    in 10 minutes."

    Finally got that rating.

Seems I have confirmed that running a business and getting the
instrument rating is about like running two businesses.

    Now the real learning begins.
