    Hi

I would have to know more about the aircraft first. What shape is the
interior in, how the paint looks, what kind of avionics, but for the most
part, It sounds like a good price for a Sport. I have a 1975 Sport and just
    love it.

Just wanted to say and hopefully partake of some of your knowledge. I
am in the process of purchasing a 74 Musketeer Sport. Since you guys
probably know the market better than I do - is $27,900 with 1700 TTSN a
fair price. From what I have seen it is - and this is my first plane
so I could use some advice.

    Thanks all!
    Bob

    Hi

The price sounds fair, but there is so much more to
consider than just 1700 Total time. How many years,
and how many hours on the engine SMOH. When I got
mine, it was 1768 or so TTSN, with 600 or so since the
engine was Top Overhauled. What kind of shape is the
log books in? AD's been complied with, and
maintenance practices? Number of hours used each of
the past few years, number of years that annuals were
skipped. And most of all, is the seller trust worthy?
If you do decide to buy, stay hooked up with the type
club for all things concerning these types of planes.
