Well the weather again has changed and now we are supposed to get snow and sleet for Saturday. Don't ever trust a weather man.

So I have decided to move the Fly-in and Maintenance clinic to Sunday October 30th, times all stay the same. I hope you can all still make it.

Let me know if you can.

Remember to look for the white line on the active runway for the spot landing contest, $25 in fuel up for grabs.

Well I am sitting here looking out my window and the sun is actually shinning, the wind is calm and it is a great day to fly.
So come on over to Wiscasset (KIWI) Free Food, Safety Seminar on Winter Flying and Remember to bring your best landing to the Spot Landing Contest. $25 worth of fuel to the best landing and I am accepting bribes as the only judge.
    See you all there
Remember to set your clocks back an hour and be here for 10 am.
    Brian

Well we finally had great weather for a fly-in here in Maine.
We had a great turnout 4 Sundowners, 1 Sierra and 1 Skipper.
Our farthest Distance goes to N923V from Montgomery, NY and its owner Luis Jimenez and his co-pilot Z.
We changes the spot landing contest to a crosswind landing skills test.
Everyone past, all of our pilots fought a 27 knot head to get up to the Great North I call home.
We ended up not having the safety seminar, light turnout at by 11:30. So we grilled up some burgers and dogs and did a lot of hanger flying.
It was a great day to fly and I am sorry for any one who missed out.
Three of the planes were back members, so they all received $25 in fuel at Wicked Good Aviation, compliments of Beech Aero Club, it pays to be a member.
Not sure where our next event will be, maybe at your home airport.
If you would like to host a Fly-in at your airport or even your neighbors, let me know and we can get it going. There is nothing to it, just ask some of our past host, Tom Corcoran, Steve Cote, Mike Hippensteel, Tim Flight, let me add your name to this list of great pilots and fly-in host.
And remember you do not have to be BAC Member to attend a fly-in.
See you all around the airport.
