Not really flying related, but anyway..

Many of you have read my posts over the years of flying to the Bahamas or read the old articles. This year I am sailing down for an extended stay. I should have a Garmin tracking device for fun, and if anyone is heading down, a way to send a message. Might be another good flyin.

I won’t be sharing much flying stories but I hope to return in a strong way to BAC in the spring.

    Paul,
This is going to be an amazing adventure for you. How long will you be in the Bahamas? Are you sailing BAC, or will Moonshadow be staying down there?

I am often curious as to the common link. So many of my aviating friends are also sailors.

    Paul,

I am envious of your trip! If only you could have the plane and the boat down in the Bahamas. What will be your transportation down there? I am assuming over 30ft?

Is there such a thing a SailAware, where we could follow your flightpath - er, course by "Sail" number along the way?

The boat is a 46ft Jeanneau. Might be seen on marinetraffic.com as well as my posted Garmin site. I really don’t know when I will get back. I have some guests coming to visit and I will be doing volunteer with with the Bahamas national trust that manages the national land and sea park in the Exumas. P

    Paul,

Have a safe passage. Beautiful boat, and good timing getting out of the mid-atlantic wx.
