    Wingtip Screws

    Hi folks,

Having acquired a pair of Metco-Aire wingtips for the Sundowner, I
exercised my naivete: I decided that it might be nice to pick up a
    complete
set of new hardware to mount the new tips. Or at least enough new
hardware to replace whatever's not up to snuff.

    The Parts Manual says:

    Screw, DK76XZ8-6, 34 of those ( per wingtip )
Nut, Clip, 294672, 34 of those ( per wingtip )

RAPID says: "Nope". "Don't have it. Never will." Or at least that's
how I interpret the "N/A" in the "price" column. Well, at least it's
    not
    $17,000.00.

SO: Do I scan the Aircraft Spruce catalog for similar screws with
similar numbers? Go to the Cessna store across the field and see if
    they
can come up with anything? Just stick in whatever seems to fit? Go to
the Home Depot for some galvanized roofing nails?

BAC search on 'replace my wingtips' has everything you need.
