I have the basic version that I bought on sale for $95. I finally
took a couple of photos of how I made a bracket and installed it and
put them on the BAC photo gallery (the MM Photo section won't open
this morning). I run it on a 2-year old HP1940 PocketPC that has
something like a 206mhz processor and 3.5 inch screen. I've never
had a problem with processing speed or screen resolution, but faster
& bigger is always nicer, so when this PPC finally dies, I'll buy a
4700/4705 like you're getting.
The other benefit of the paper Jepps is that when all else fails you
can still have a paper chart to show how to get to the ground in one
piece, hopefully with an ICOM (or similar) handheld.
