Thanks to Bob I found out that my alternator/regulator output is too
low ( its showing 12.9 volts.)I am also getting pulsing panel lights
and bouncy ammeter. I found today a loose connection at the alternator
circuit breaker so I tightened it . Upon further inspection I see I
have an adjustable Delco Remy voltage regulator . There is a sp[ot
marked voltage adjustment near what looks like a hex socket cap
screw . I was wondering if that was the actual adjustment or just a cap
over the real adjustment screw . Is this adjustment difficult and can
it be done by an aircraft owner Thanks all for the usual assistance Chas
