    AD 2005-26-10

The AD includes B24-R's,but does not list Lycoming model IO-360 A1B6 ,which
is what my '74 Sierra has. I assume this is an oversight in the AD,and the
critical issue is whether original cylinders were replaced with ECi's.

Airplanes with Lycoming engines equipped with certain Engine Components,
Inc. (ECi) cylinders must replace those cylinders. This affects a great
many airplane types, including the entire Beech Aero Club series of
    airplanes.

Ray's absolutely right and this is a serious AD, as opposed to ones
such as adding a plazard about not flying into icing (duh).

There are at least three versions of applicability in this AD
(engine model, airplane model, and cylinder model) and there may be
a typo that misses you in one of them. If you even think you may
have one of these cylinders, get it checked out, even if you have to
call the FAA engineer whose name is in the AD.
