    Welcome Woodrow!

Congrats on your new plane! Great choice for your first! As for
sources of parts, advise, service information, etc. you have already
found a fantastic starting point. Let me invite you to join the Beech

Also, don't be shy about asking questions though I must encourage you
to utilized the "search" function for this forum and Beech Aero Club.
There will always new issues with our planes but more often than not,
the question(s) on your mind has already come up and there is plenty
of available information to be had by doing a search.

Meantime, enjoy that new plane. Beech made and makes terrific aircraft.
You will get many years of fun and service I'm sure!

    Hello Woody,
Congratulations on your choice for an airplane. My first airplane was also a 1965 A23. I bought it in 1993 and I still own it. The best source of information is www.beechaeroclub.com and this forum is the second best choice. BAC costs $50 a year and is well worth the money, especially if you need advice and help chasing parts. The people there are mostly the same people as here but the site allows more information to be stored and a good search engine. You can access some of it without being a member so that you can look around and get a taste.

The information that you get is really good with many expert opinions to draw from. We cross check each other so that very little misinformation gets relayed and opinions get discussed. The only opinions that are not welcome are those that prefer brand C or brand P. I am not sure what happens to those people because anyone who had tried a Beech doesn't want to go back.

    Welcom to Beechworld,

Am a first time plane owner, which happens to be a 1965 A23. Looked
for a long time for an aircraft that was within my budget and one with
a reputation for long reliable service. Believe I have found both in
    the Musketeer.

Now, I am looking for sources of both new and used parts, airframe and
engine, to bring the bird back to new condition.

Any leads and good experiences with suppliers would be greatly
appreciated. Also, if there are any parts buletin boards out there,
    that would be great also.

    Thanks,

    Woodie
