Steve, thee are several references on this subject on BAC. My personal preference is Nutek, for gyro work (link is on BAC).

Beech instruments were made by several different manufacturers. There is probably a small label on the side or back that has more info. Since it isn't one of the antiques, it is almost certainly repairable at far less cost than a new one. Many of the high-quality old gyros are much more robust and rebuildable than many of the lower-cost new ones.

My vacuum attitude indicator has gone tango uniform. So it's time for a rebuild or replacement. Mine is a "modern" unit, but the brand on the face is Beechcraft. Who actually made this unit? Is it rebuildable?
