    Beech Autopilot

My A23 has a basic autopilot (wing leveler?) mounted in a standard
instrument hole. Can someone tell me something about this unit?
Neither my service manual or parts manual has the unit in it. The
unit is labled Beech and the logbooks indicate it was installed in
    1967. Thanks.

    Beech Autopilot

    Woodie:
It's probably a "Beech-Matic" made by Brittain Industries Autopilots and
used to be installed at the factory as OEM equipment by Beech.
I had one of those in my 1963 Mouse and it was a very reliable unit.
Brittain is still in business, as far as I know, so if you need to
    service
your unit I would give them a call.
