Friday night I asked if anyone wanted to get together on Saturday since
the weather was suppose to be sunny in the Midwest. Brad Mitchell got
back to me and said a few people from his home airport in Georgetown, KY
were planning to fly to Bolton Field (TZR) near Columbus, Ohio for
lunch. I called Dan Kirby, who lives in Southern Ohio, if he might be
interested in flying to Bolton. Dan wasn't sure if he could make it.

Well, we ended up with a very sunny day (I never saw a cloud) and had a
good turnout. We had four Musketeers, one Diamond Star and one Piper.
Included in the four Musketeers was Dan Kirby's Sierra, which had just
come out of Annual the day before. We got our fill of great tasting ribs
and hamburgers at PJ's Ribs, a restaurant located right next to the

Per the $100 Hamburger book, Bolton often has biplane's doing
aerobatics. Yesterday we didn't get that kind of entertainment but did
enjoy watching a Maule(?) pick-up and drop several tow banners.

Hope the weather and good turnout (on such short notice) is a sign of
better BAC Fly-ins this year than last.
