    Creaking noise in landing gear

I noticed a creaking noise in the left gear area when pulling my
Sundowner out of the hangar a few days ago. It also creaked when I
stood on the wingwalk. I thought our A&P lubed the gear every annual
(I know, more that 25 hours between lubes). Could he be missing
    something?
I can see two places to lube on the gear trailing link, and it looks
like two more on the arm that seems to go to the donuts. Are there
more places that need lubrication? Could it be something else? Sure
sounds like dry metal to metal noise. Sounds kinda like loosening a
really tight lug nut on your car tire.

Check BAC archives, there's a lot about lubrication and people can
miss getting enough in. I'll add to inspect closely to make sure that
you don't have a cracked tube or weldment in the gear/engine mount.

    Creaking noise in landing gear

I had a creaking noise in my right main gear. It turned out to be a loose
Jo-bolt. It is fixed now but was down a couple of weeks during the
annual...only partly due to trying to find Jo-bolts.
I hope it is only a missed lube point for you.

    Chuz
