Help getting a Sundowner from Nashua NH to McKinney TX

    Looking for advice here....

I'm moving house from Nashua NH (ASH) to McKinney TX (TKI). Since I
can't drive and fly at the same time, my Sundowner will stay at ASH
    until sometime in the fall.

It is IFR certified, but I am not (yet). Does anybody have any ideas
or rough estimates on the cost of having it ferried to TX? Anybody
want to volunteer? Must be instrument rated, since the probability of
2000 miles of VMC is very low.....

    Paul.

Help getting a Sundowner from Nashua NH to McKinney TX

    Paul,

I can't do the whole trip because I just spent a bunch of my vacation
time on a flying trip to Texas. If you think you can coordinate it, I'd
be willing to take a leg from Martinsburg WV (about 350NM from you) to
somewhere in Tennessee. If someone wants to pick up the next leg...or
rest of the flight, you've got it made.

This might be the way to go because it might be difficult to find
someone to take an airplane they are not familiar with (mechanically or
equipment wise) out into IFR conditions. If you coordinate it in hops,
the whole trip might be able to be made VFR, and you can be reunited
with your mouse sooner than the fall.

    How is your mouse equipped?

    Best,

    RJF
