    Directional gyro filter

    Can anyone suggest an "inlet" filter for a sigma tek directional gyro?
    I have a very old pandect filter.

    Directional gyro filter

    I'm not sure, but it sounds like you have a filter that screws directly into the gyro. Those are generally expensive. Its better to put in the Airborne 1J7-1 which uses a much less expensive D9-18-1 filter. That way you get good filtration at a reasonable price. You would need another fitting and hose to the gyros. Just remember what ever you do, do not run your gyros without a filter.
