I have new metco wingtips to install within the next month or so. If you think you still could use them at that point let me know.

Rod, I posted a reply to this on MML. Many old computer-related hardware case parts are pure ABS. That's where I get my ABS to make my own colored cement (other than black). Check my MML reply for more details.

    ABS Royalite used plastic parts????

Rod, just look for some old computer case parts (tower or desktop
case, printer case, CRT case, etc.) which have the ABS plastic
triangular recycle logo on them somewhere. It has to be the plain ABS
marking in the logo; not ABS+ something else. It will say ABS; no
    code to decipher.

Choose one that is close to your desired color. Grate the plastic
with a grater or coarse file, and dissolve it in pure MEK until you
have a thick paste or putty. It will dissolve fairly fast if it is
the correct plastic. If it stays grainy, it isn't pure ABS. You can
get MEK at Lowes or Home Depot; sometimes at hardware stores. Don't
substitute any other solvent; it must be MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone).
