    C24 for MS Flight Simulator

Does anyone have a C24 aircraft model for MS FLightsimulator. I'd love
to have a panel on flight sim that matches my real one for practice.

    Thanks,
    Dennis

    Dennis,

There are many panels and aircraft for a Piper Arrow for FS9 and lower. The Arrow is the closest you can get to the Sierra. Even though FS X is awesome there are many aircraft out there and converting FS 9 aircraft don't always work.

If you find one, please let me know. Maybe if there is enough interest then we can take this on as a BAC project.

    C24 for MS Flight Simulator

Here's the link for the Sundowner, which I was sent by Ralph Epstein
back in 2004. I notice that it was last updated in July 2005 to work
with MS FS 2004, so no update for FS X. When I had tried it previous to
this July 2005 update I thought it was a little quirky in that the
flight controls were not as true-to-life as other plane simulations.
Hopefully this is an improved version.

I would be very interested in a Sundowner model. Hopefully, there would be a lot of commonality between the two.

Hi I have downloaded the Sundowner and found the flight dynamics a little off. I am thankfull that Scott Jelinek made the model and shared it on his site. I have tried to contact him to ask permission to modify his model and alter it to look and fly like our planes, but his mail box has been full. I will try again. I have used a program called AirWrench to change all the flight dynamics to fly like a Sport 150, Sundowner, and the Sierra. I also used a program called FS Repaint and painted the Sundowner to look like my sons 1974 Sport. I have limited computer skills and would need help to change the model to retract the gear or add and remove the windows. The changes that I have made really make his Sundowner model fly like the Sport with good flight manors. The stall, and other speeds are right on. The Sundowner and the Sierra also work well. If I can contact Scott and get a copy of his model and permission to change and post it as Freeware we could have some good practice planes. It would not be right to circulate the altered planes without his permission and changes to the model cannot be made (windows & gear) without the original model.
