Tom

The powers that be here in Canada no longer require a radio licence, it was
dropped four or five years ago so without it, even form the US, I don't
think it's any longer an issue.

Subject: [inbox] [musketeermail] Prince Edward Island Fly-In Radio License

> Your government at work:
>
> The FCC has conveniently devised (what appears to be) an
issue-it-to-yourself radio license for your airplane. This is what the
Canadian Customs/Immigration may ask for if you are flying to the beautiful
island that is Maritime Canada's smallest province.

> It should be FCC 605 Schedule F.
>
> The Prince Edward Island Fly-In is July 2 over the long CanAm weekend.
Customs will be interested in your aircraft registration and the ID's of
people aboard and the duty they collect on excess booze and butts aboard.
Otherwise, they are quite reasonable. They have never asked for my radio
license.

> Remember, the PEI Flying Association is giving personal tours in their own
cars for visiting Beech people.
